Todd fell in love with filmmaking at an early age. Being naturally drawn to comedy, he would stay up past bedtime to watch David Letterman and old Monty Python. Hot summer days were spent hiding in the basement devouring VHS after VHS.

Todd started taking improv workshops as a teen. By college, he was earning a living as a professional improviser. He worked on over a hundred commercials in the Midwest before moving to Los Angeles, where he made web shorts before breaking into television.

Having held nearly every position from PA to grip to DP to director, Todd knows filmmaking. He’s a strong collaborator, and his years of experience directing late-night comedy have taught him to be quick and efficient while always getting the right take.

Beyond directing, Todd is an accomplished cinematographer and editor. His work on the web short Le Typewriter was recognized by the Webbys. He also recently released his fifth album with his band, Irritating Rainbow. Born and raised in Milwaukee, WI, he now resides in Los Angeles, CA.
